The Men Are Home Once Again!

Robert and Harrison got home this afternoon from Boy Scout Camp in Talihina, Oklahoma which use to be an Indian Territory where my Grandpa William Brady was born!
As Robert unpacked the van and scout trailer--our kitty cat found an unique place to rest--on top of canvas in our little red wagon. Spice is 18 1/2 years old. She has been a good pet for our family.

Harrison went swimming with some of his second cousins: left to right: Cody, Zane, Sam, and Harrison showing off his "guns"!! Cody is the son of Bradley McKneely and Zane and Sam are the sons of Spicy Jo McKneely.

While the fellas were gone--Marsha had a visiting teaching luncheon--everything tasted good and went really well. Those attending: (L to R) Sheree Stutzman, Rhonda Joseph, Terri Snider and Nila Riding. :)

Terri Snider and Mema.

Mema also attended a luncheon with about 20 of the girls who were in her graduating Nacogdoches High School class of 1967! They were celebrating turning 60 this year!
This is Carol and Vicky. Vicky's husband just bought her a red convertible for her 60th birthday!
This is Pam Lovell and Patsy Hayden. Patsy and her family lived up the Old Lufkin Road from Mema and her family. They use to spend the night together sometimes. :)

This is Ann and Brenda.

Here is Mema and one of her best friends in high school: LaQuita Joiner. LaQuita is over all the property taxes in Nacogdoches County. Everyone was asking her WHY our taxes keep going up and yet home values are suppose to be going downward. I did not think that was fair to be pressuring her. LaQuita told them that home sales in Nacogdoches have not gone down like the rest of the country. :)

I have lost a total of 28 pounds as of this morning. I still want to loose about 10 more if I can. :)
