PAPA LOOSES MEMAW AT WALMART :0

Last night Papa asked Memaw to go with him to Walmart. Memaw said "Yes." Inside the store Papa was looking for Scout equipment for his ward troop. Memaw got bored and said she was going to look at the women's clothing. After a little while, Papa found Memaw and said he was ready to check out. So Memaw hurried and found one more present for Mary Megan. She went and checked out and went outside to the parking lot. She looked all over the parking lot and she could NOT find Papa's little white car. She got a little scared and decided to go back to the door where she came out. There she sat for at least an hour and she never saw Papa. She tried very hard not to cry. She said a prayer to Heavenly Father. It got very dark and was misting and getting cooler. She kept saying over and over in her mind: "Papa would not leave me." Tears started to come. Suddenly someone yelled; "Marsha--what is the matter?" It was a friend of Memaw's from Church named Amy. Amy suggested that Memaw go back in the store and have Papa paged over the intercon. Memaw did not have her cell phone. She could not remember Papa's cell phone number either. Amy's suggestion sounded good to her. She took her buggy and walked back into Walmart and guess WHO she saw???? There was Papa with all his Scouting stuff. There had been a problem with the Church tax number--and so he had been held up at the Customer Service desk. He had been calling Memaw's cell phone and no one would answer it. When Memaw and Papa got into the car--Memaw started crying a whole bunch. Papa said, "You are crying like a little girl." Memaw replied, "I am a little girl." Papa held Memaw's hand all the way home. This helped her feel safe and happy again. Moral to this story: NEVER GET SEPARATED FROM PAPA AT WALMART!!!! :)
